30 months aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese contains only 30% of water and as much as 70% of nutrients: this hard cheese is produced without additives, is extremely rich from a nutritional point of view, with a concentration of proteins, vitamins, calcium and minerals that make it suitable for all ages .
It is a major source of calcium, and in Italy it is used daily in the mediterranean diet because is essential for the growth and maintenance of bones: 40 grams of aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese provides more than 50% of the daily requirement of this precious element.
